Stefanie Gordon was just another ordinary flight passenger boarding a flight to see her parents up state. That was, until the flight’s pilot announced that there would be a chance they may see space shuttle Endeavor’s last launch en-route. Speedy-thinking Gordon whipping out the only camera she had with her — an iPhoneiPhone (pronounced /ˈaɪfoʊn/ eye-fohn) is a line of Web- and multimedia-enabled smartphones developed and marketed by Apple Inc. The initial iPhone was unveiled by Apple CEO Steve Jobs on January 9, 2007, and released on June 29, 2007..

When Stefanie Gordon boarded her plane in New York City to pay a visit to her parents in Palm Beach, the captain noted there was a chance passengers would witness the space shuttle Endeavor’s last launch during the flight. But she never expected to play a role in documenting it.

As the plane descended toward Palm Beach and the Endeavour’s launch became visible, Gordon pulled out her iPhoneiPhone (pronounced /ˈaɪfoʊn/ eye-fohn) is a line of Net- and multimedia-enabled smartphones designed and marketed by Apple Inc. The very first iPhone was unveiled by Apple CEO Steve Jobs on January 9, 2007, and released on June 29, 2007. and snapped a couple of photos and a short video. On the ground, she posted one of the pictures to her then 1,800 Twitter followers.
