Agoda, the leading on-line booking portal in Asia, has announced a new iPhone application. Free of charge for download, the app allows Agoda consumers to view and book up-to-the-minute rates at much more than 150,000 properties about the planet.
Instant confirmation permits Agoda’s mobile customers freedom from be concerned and greater flexibility than what most OTA’s can provide at present. The Agoda iPhone app permits their clients to search via the smart phone for hotels by city, or at their existing location. GPS based booking features will soon be the business common, as news from Stay.com revealed earlier this Summer. No matter exactly where you are on the globe, obtaining services and booking them need to be as straightforward as 1-2-3, and Agoda’s new booking tool illustrates this capability nicely.

Interestingly too, according to my count, the Agoda app is accessible in 37 languages too. As you can see in the screen above, users of the apps can view images, sort, check current location, and perform a wide assortment of tasks from the convenience of their intelligent phone. Refining searches, reading reviews and details, and even acquiring directions in unfamiliar territory are possible.
For last minute hotel booking (most likely other stuff later on), these kinds of smart phone utilities will soon turn into indispensable. Just imagine your confirmation delivered to your inbox, on the phone, to present to the desk clerk. President of agoda.com Mr. Robert Rosenstein, had this to add about the new application:
“Today’s traveler is mobile-ready, which makes travel so a lot simpler if there’s no laptop or computer or WiFi station nearby and you want to book a hotel. Men and women already know that agoda.com is a source for the best cost on hotels that aren’t obtainable via other channels and with our new app consumers can access those hotels via their iPhone.”

Argo suggests Agoda – They’re developing a quite good booking portal over there
For those unfamiliar with Agoda, the on-line booking business specializes in low cost bookings for travelers from around the world.
