Apple’s iPhone 5 could be releasing in June this year. Effectively – that’s rumours for you. ETNew, a Korean web site, is banking on June.
Mac Rumors translated the reports, which reads how the iPhone 5 will go on sale in the fourth week of June. It reads “In the midst of the iPhone five postponement rumours, Apple has confirmed that iPhone five will be released as planned and it will be released simultaneously in Korea through SK Telecom and KT”.
ETNews’ post was instantly debunked by the Western side of the world. Influential Apple watcher Jim Dalrymple said “My sources said today that rumours of an iPhone five release at the finish of June had been entirely false. Doesn’t it seem strange to anybody else that Apple would confirm the release of the iPhone 5 in Korea before confirming it in the US?”.
How true do you think this rumour is?
